What surface is needed to place my office pod?
What about the costs for heating and air conditioning?
Your office pod is equipped with an air-to-air heat pump, which provides both heating and cooling. This allows you to greatly reduce your heating costs when working at home. The first reason is that the heat pump in your office pod is very energy efficient. Secondly, your office pod is a small space, especially compared to a complete (living) room in your home. The exact consumption is tracked in the app which you can consult at any time. If necessary, compensation for the heating costs can be discussed with the employer.
What about the internet and electricity?
No worries about connectivity. We connect your office pod to the internet and electricity in your house during the installation.
What should I prepare for installation?
Make sure you are at home at the time of installation. Thanks to the modular structure, all components fit through a regular doorway. We assemble your office pod on site. If possible, inform us in advance of the best possible route and any obstacles and make the passage as free as possible. Mark from where the electricity can be pulled through and make sure you have the wifi code to hand. All of this will be discussed in advance during the intake interview.
How do I operate my office pod? Can I lock it?
A free app on your smartphone allows you to control your office pod. You can turn the lights and heating on or off, and you can lock and unlock the door.
Do I need a permit to place my office pod in my garden?
Yes. An expansion to a space that has a residential or commercial function is always subject to a permit requirement. The views on this may, however, vary from one municipality to another. We recommend that you contact your local administrations and inquire. Don't know how to start? Feel free to contact us. If the pod is already placed and in case problems arise at a later date, we will come and pick it up again free of charge.
What is the estimated delivery time?
The standard office pod and standard accessories are usually in stock. The installation takes place on average about six weeks after the configuration is known. If you go for specific options, you may have to wait a little longer for your office pod. In any case, our team stays in contact with you throughout the whole process.
I live in a row house, my garden is difficult to access. Is that a problem?
Not at all! We assemble your office pod in your garden, and all panels fit through a standard door. During our intake meeting we go over all this and discuss the best possible route to install your office pod.
